About Kavarna Mezi Radky

Stepping inside this cozy establishment reveals a warm ambiance that combines rustic charm with a modern twist. The gentle hum of quiet conversation blends with the aromatic presence of freshly ground coffee beans, setting a relaxed yet vibrant tone. The array of pastries and small bites glimpse the thoughtful attention behind the Kavarna Mezi Radky menu, appealing both to those seeking a quick break or a lengthier pause. Some photos circulating online capture the inviting interior, showcasing exposed brick walls and wooden accents that seem to cradle the guests in comfort. Amid the calm, the subtle buzz of activity suggests a popular spot among locals, though occasional wait times serve as a reminder of its steady appeal.

The coffee here holds particular merit, with expertly crafted espresso drinks that strike a balance between intensity and smoothness, making it clear why many reviews highlight this aspect. While the selection doesn’t overwhelm with variety, each item feels carefully curated rather than thrown together. Small details, like the temperature of milk foam and the rich aroma lingering after a sip, contribute to a satisfying experience despite the absence of expansive food options. The staff manages an approachable friendliness without feeling intrusive, though the pace can slightly waver during peak hours, a common quirk in well-frequented cafés. Pricing aligns with the quality offered, bringing reasonable value to a neighborhood where coffee culture is evolving.

Though not situated in the city’s bustling heart, this restaurant carves out a distinct niche that invites both reflection and casual gatherings. Kavarna Mezi Radky’s reviews often mention its balance between a laid-back environment and dependable standards in beverage preparation. This mix makes it an attraction worthy of exploration for those browsing photos or seeking a reliable coffee retreat off the typical tourist path. While there is room for expanding the menu to include more diverse offerings, the core strengths lie in the consistency of the coffee and the authentic ambiance. The experience culminates as a quiet, genuine moment amid Prague’s vibrant café scene, holding its own quietly yet confidently.

Need to say one of the most friendly staff I have met. The place is nicely decorated with books it has a calm vibe. The food looks very nice and photogenic. They had spaghetti which was 8/10 and ravioli 6.5/10 adding different sauces could have been better. The price is very reasonable. I do recommend this place 10/10 as a hanging spot or spending your time there to chill.

A lovely café in the heart of the Smíchov district. The friendly staff is ready to brighten your morning as early as 8 AM, serving delicious breakfasts and freshly baked pastries. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a unique interior design featuring plenty of books—not just as decor, but also for guests to read. There’s also a menu with tasty and nourishing options for a satisfying meal. The window-side tables offer a special kind of pleasure: sipping aromatic coffee, soaking in the morning calm, and watching the city slowly wake up.

Staying in Prague 5, struggled to find a decent coffee shop. Would have no hesitation recommending this place, in fact it will be our daily breakfast location from now on. Food is freshly made, cant go wrong. Well priced. Coffee wise, the latte was a little weak for my taste, but the Flat White was spot on. Nice people. It had the feel of a "local" place. Very little English spoken, no English menu, make the effort, learn a little Czech, use Google Translate on the menu, it's worth it. I notice a lot of reviews mention the "staff". We have been coming here for breakfast, every day for 2 weeks, also a few times in the evening. I have a coffee shop in the UK, and I would not hesitate to employ any of the staff. They are friendly, welcoming, and attentive.

We took this home from the place and it was lovely! We also had a Minty Soup which was amazing but forgot to take a pic. The Focaccia was crunchy outside and soft inside and the flavours of the filling were very well balanced. The chicken was perfectly done and juicy. Strong suggest!

Lovely cafe, great food, reasonably priced. Had breakfast here twice during a 4 night stay in Prague. Food was lovely and good value for money. Added bonus for me was choice of vegetarian options, as well as meat options. Staff were friendly and service good.
